Put away your preconceptions

Asian culture is very different. If you are a middle aged man with failed relationships behind you - Thailand is for you.

A culture where age and maturity are respected - all you need is a good heart (and perhaps a little money) to make your dreams come true.

Thailand - where grey hair is a sign of wisdom, not old age.

If you would like a fully fulfilled relationship with a lady half your age - Thailand is for you.

We can take you there, accommodate you in all the action areas, and come the evening take you to the hottest night spots in the world.

You can drink your beer whilst watching semi-naked go-go dancers and at the end of the evening, take your choice.

Fed up with the Divorced and Separated Club (Desperate and Suicidal Club!). Then improve your odds - come with us to Thailand.

Are you middle-aged ?
Do your children say you are over the hill ?
Did your wife leave years ago ?

Start to live again ! Would you like to spend two weeks in a luxury hotel, have your choice of the most beautiful girls in the world, half your age, not interested in what you look like, but only if you are a good person.

Then come with us to the most exciting destination in the world - that is PATTAYA, THAILAND.

When in Rome - Do as the Romans !!!

It is important to have some understanding of Thai culture and tradition, and there is much good reading on the subject.

Thai people are passive, patient, happy people. Thailand is known as the 'land of smiles'. Good manners are considered very important and older people (and visitors) are respected. Aggressive behaviour is not tolerated. Even to raise your voice is considered rude. How else could you have hundreds of bars and discos in Pattaya City and not a single doorman or bouncer. Could you have that in the UK?

When buying goods from stall on the street you MUST barter but always with a smile. They always ask for twice as much as they expect to get and think you silly if you pay the full price.

Remember also that your money is powerful in Thailand and you will be treated as a rich person and you may feel like one.

The following prices are a guide only: (exchange rate approx 74 baht to the £)

Singa Beer (recommended) in the bar 60-90 baht or 28 baht in the supermarket
Admission to clubs and discos are usually free.
Taxi fare around the city from 10 baht to 100 baht depending on distance
Average around tourist area is 20 baht (about 30 pence)
Restaurant meal around 300-500 baht or eat on the street for up to 100 baht
Levi Jeans (good quality fakes) 600 baht - Shirt 200 baht

It is also worth knowing the etiquette in the bars and discos.

You will be welcomed at the door and shown to a seat. You will probably find that the customers are out numbered by the girls by about 3-1. Good odds !

You order your drink and your bill will arrive in a 'pot'. You don't pay until you leave. You will soon find you will be joined by one of the girls who works in the bar. Her job is to keep you happy (and drinking) and get as many bills in your pot as possible !! She may ask you to buy her a "lady drink". It is "up to you" there is no obligation, but these drinks, usually coloured water, cost 120 baht and the girl gets commission.

If you get on well with the girl, or indeed you like any other girl in the bar you may ask her if she would like to leave the bar with you (she may even ask you). If that is agreed you will be breaking the rules of the bar and they will impose a "bar fine" on you of usually 300 baht. The bars claim it is to compensate them for the loss of the girls services. She will be allowed to remain out of the bar for 24 hours or until her next shift. She will expect you to care for her as indeed she will care for you.
